7/26 JBE 2021 Proclamation 133 – COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Mitigation Measures Amendment to 131 JBE 2021: Louisiana designated as “State of Concern” by the CDC; additional mitigation measures include strongly encouraging increased social distancing and face coverings indoors for both vaccinated and unvaccinated, authorization for state offices to set mask mandates, and authorization for all local governing authorities and private businesses to issue more restrictive measures than those imposed by the state.

4/27 JBE 2021 Proclamation 80 – Extension of Emergency Provisions Due to COVID-19 Public Health Emergency: Statewide mask mandate lifted, with exceptions including in state government buildings, schools, healthcare facilities, and on public transit. Outdoor event capacity limitations lifted. Indoor event capacity at 75% while enforcing six feet of social distancing, or 100% capacity with masks required and enforced. Effective through May 26, 2021.
4/27 JBE 2021 Proclamation 79 – COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Mitigation Measures: Statewide mask mandate lifted, with exceptions including in state government buildings, schools, healthcare facilities, and on public transit. Outdoor event capacity limitations lifted. Indoor event capacity at 75% while enforcing six feet of social distancing, or 100% capacity with masks required and enforced. Effective through May 26, 2021.
3/30 JBE 2021 Proclamation 66 – COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Phase 3 of Resilient Louisiana: Statewide mask mandate remains, most occupancy limits lifted while maintaining social distancing requirements, large event venues at 50% capacity and less than 500 people indoors. Effective through April 28, 2021.
