Port Fourchon is ending all GLPC Storm Phases for Hurricane Laura and returning to normal operations as threats from elevated water levels recede with the tide. This will be our final update.
A coastal flood advisory remains in effect through noon today, with minor coastal flooding (1-3 feet above normal) possible. All other watches and warnings have expired for the Port Fourchon area.
The roads are open to all traffic, but please drive with caution through low-lying areas that may still have some tide-related debris.
Mariners, CLICK HERE to view the US Coast Guard’s Port Condition Marine Safety Information Bulletin for Port Fourchon, in which the Captain of the Port for MSU Houma/Morgan City declares the port open with restrictions.

EMERGENCY STORM HARBOR MARINA:
With the end of this storm, the Emergency Storm Harbor Marina has been deactivated and is being closed. All vessels in the marina must be cleared per ordinance guidelines.
