Port Fourchon Belle Pass Channel Deepening Section 203 Project Documents
Public Notice Information:
Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Greater Lafourche Port Commission (the Non-Federal Interest [NFI]), announces the release of the draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) for the Tentatively Selected Plan (TSP) of the Port Fourchon Belle Pass Channel Deepening Project (Project), Lafourche Parish, LA. The DEIS documents the existing condition of environmental resources adjacent to and in the vicinity of the areas being considered for development, and the potential impacts to those resources resultant of Project implementation.
The Greater Lafourche Port Commission will hold the public meeting for the DEIS on October 25th, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The Greater Lafourche Port Commission will accept written public comments on the DEIS from September 24th, 2018 to November 7th, 2018. Comments on the DEIS must be postmarked by November 7th, 2018.
