Conditions have worsened on La Hwy 1 between Leon Theriot Flood Gates and Leeville as high tide approaches at approximately 1:45a.m. Essential travel in larger vehicles should take place at this time.
GLPC Harbor Police, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office and Louisiana State Police are on scene in the most impacted areas of the Hwy restricting smaller vehicle traffic to protect the public’s safety.
